We’re Umar and Sundas, and home is Weesp: a small fortified town on the river Vecht, full of canals, drawbridges and windmills, and only a quarter of an hour by train from Amsterdam.
This website is our diary. Here we share vlogs, photos and stories about settling into Dutch life, exploring the country by train and bike, and tasting our way through everything from stroopwafels to raw herring (we’re still working on that one).
